Pardon my crumbly cake, I like to eat my cake whilst warm so I did not wait for it to cool completely before I cut it ; p
Here's the simple recipe:
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup whole milk
2 eggs
1/2 vanilla (I scraped mine from vanilla pod)
What to do:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2.Cream sugar and butter together till creamy
3. Add in all the ingredients gradually
4. Transfer to a 9"x5" loaf pan
5. Bake for about 60 mins
